Syncing Breezeway tasks
Pull Breezeway tasks into Work Orders and push costs and receipts back to Breezeway.
When Breezeway is connected, your tasks flow into Work Orders, and the costs you code in Accountable can flow back onto the tasks.
Connect Breezeway
- Go to Settings > Integrations > Operations.
- Enter your Breezeway email and Breezeway password and connect.
See Breezeway for all settings.
Pull tasks
Tasks sync automatically. To pull the latest right away, click Sync from Breezeway on the Work Orders page. The first sync pulls tasks from the last 6 months and can take a few minutes. Tasks appear as the sync runs.
Updates from Breezeway, such as task status, department, priority, and finish time, keep flowing in. Your edits to the name and description in Accountable are never overwritten.
Push costs back to Breezeway
Turn on Write costs back to Breezeway in Settings > Integrations > Operations. When it's on, pushing a work order also posts its coded costs and receipts onto the Breezeway task. It's off by default.
To push a work order:
- Open the work order.
- Add or review its lines and receipts.
- Click Push costs to Breezeway.
Uploaded receipts go along with the next push. Lines that came from Breezeway can only be removed in Breezeway.
Create tasks in Breezeway
- To create a Breezeway task for a work order you made in Accountable, open it and click Create in Breezeway.
- To do this automatically, turn on Auto-create tasks in Breezeway. New work orders created in Accountable are then created as Breezeway tasks. Costs still follow the writeback setting.
The work order's assignee is carried onto the Breezeway task when it's created.
Linking card purchases to tasks
Field staff can link a purchase to a Breezeway task right from the receipt text. See Linking a Breezeway task or work order.
Tip: Use the Bill to Owner tag filter if your team tags owner-billable tasks in Breezeway. It's a quick way to find the work that needs charging.
