Auto mark ready and auto sync
Cut down on clicks by letting complete transactions move to Ready and sync on their own.
By default, every transaction waits until someone clicks Mark Ready and then Sync. These settings skip steps for transactions that are already complete.
Automatically mark transactions ready
With this on, a transaction is marked Ready as soon as all its required accounting fields are filled in, by a person or by an accounting rule.
- Go to Settings > Integrations > Accounting.
- Turn on Automatically Mark Transactions Ready When All Required Fields Are Filled.
- Save.
If an automatic mark fails, you'll see "Auto-mark failed. You can retry manually." Click Mark Ready on the transaction to try again.
Marking a transaction ready doesn't sync it. Ready transactions are sent when you click Sync in the review queue.
Auto sync to Breezeway and OwnerRez
For Breezeway and OwnerRez, a transaction can sync on its own as soon as it's saved, if it's ready and has everything the destination needs:
- Breezeway: a linked task.
- OwnerRez: an OwnerRez category and vendor.
When this happens you'll see "Sync started automatically." If it fails, you'll see "Auto-sync failed. You can retry manually," and the transaction stays in the queue for a normal sync.
Auto sync bills to accounting
In bill pay, Auto-Sync Invoices as Bills creates a bill in your accounting system when an invoice is approved. Turn it on under Settings > Integrations > Accounting in the Accounts Payable section. See Syncing bills to accounting.
Track bills at approval
For Track accounts, Sync Bill to Track at Approval creates the Track bill when a bill pay invoice is approved, instead of waiting until the payment posts.
What still needs a person
- Mixed transactions waiting to be split
- Transactions missing a property, category, or vendor
- Anything that failed to sync
Tip: Check the badge counts next to each queue under Accounting. They show how many transactions are still waiting to sync.
