Creating your account and verification

Create your login, verify your business, and link a bank account. Your Accountable contact will give you an access code to start.

Sign up

1. Open the sign up page and enter your Access code.
2. Enter your first name, last name, email, and a password.
3. Add your business address and submit the form.

If you already have a login, use Log in here on the sign up page instead.

Verify your business

Accountable accounts are provided through Stripe, so next comes Stripe's business verification. After you submit the sign up form, a secure Stripe page asks you to confirm details such as:

• Your legal business name and business structure
• Your business address and tax ID
• Information about the account representative and owners

When you finish, you're returned to Accountable. If you leave partway through, log back in and click Finish Registration on the Welcome screen to pick up where you left off. Only admins see this button.

Link an external bank account

Linking your operating bank account lets you fund your Accountable accounts and withdraw money later. Do it during setup, or skip it and come back from Accounts. Some banks connect instantly. Others verify with small test deposits, which can take a business day or two. See Linking external bank accounts.

Fund your account

Once a bank account is linked, transfer money into your Accountable account. The setup screen suggests an amount based on your property count, but you can enter any amount.

After verification

• Invite your team from Settings > Team.
• Connect your PMS and accounting system under Settings > Integrations.
• Connect the cards your team already uses.

Tip: If verification asks for documents you don't have handy, you can stop and come back. Your progress is saved.
