Breezeway
Link purchases to Breezeway tasks, sync tasks into Work Orders, and post costs back to tasks.
Breezeway connects as its own operations integration, alongside your PMS. Tasks flow into Work Orders, and coded charges and receipts flow back onto the tasks.
What syncs
| From Accountable to Breezeway | From Breezeway to Accountable |
|---|---|
| Expense costs on the linked task, with markup | Tasks, into Work Orders |
| Receipts on the task | Open tasks for each property, for linking purchases |
| New tasks created from the receipt link or from Work Orders | Supplies, for inventory import |
| Inventory charges linked to a task | Task status, department, priority, and finish time |
Connect Breezeway
- Create a Breezeway user for Accountable, or use an existing one.
- In Accountable, go to Settings > Integrations > Operations.
- Enter the Breezeway email and Breezeway password and connect.
You'll see "Breezeway connected." A Breezeway review queue appears under Accounting.
Breezeway settings
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Allowed Departments | Which task departments appear when linking a purchase, such as maintenance or housekeeping. |
| Default Markup Percentage | Applied to each expense cost synced to Breezeway. Set to 0 to disable. Can be overridden per transaction. |
| Write costs back to Breezeway | When on, pushing a work order also posts its coded costs and receipts onto the task. Off by default. |
| Auto-create tasks in Breezeway | New work orders created in Accountable are automatically created as Breezeway tasks. |
Linking purchases to tasks
Add the Task field to your receipt link. After choosing a property, field staff see open tasks for it and can search by task ID or name, or tap Add new task. When a linked expense is ready, it can sync to the task automatically on save. See Linking a Breezeway task or work order.
Work orders and inventory
- Syncing Breezeway tasks covers pulling tasks and pushing costs from Work Orders.
- Breezeway inventory sync covers importing supplies and keeping stock in step.
Common issues
- "Could not connect Breezeway": check the email and password. If the password changed in Breezeway, enter the new one in Settings > Integrations > Operations.
- A task isn't showing on the link: check its department is in Allowed Departments and that it's open for that property.
- "There was an error creating this task": the task may already exist. Search for it instead.
- Costs aren't appearing on tasks from Work Orders: turn on Write costs back to Breezeway.
Tip: Uploaded photos that Accountable posts to Breezeway aren't imported back, so you won't see duplicate receipts.
