Connect NetSuite

  1. Click Accounting in the left navigation, or go to Settings > Integrations > Accounting.
  2. Click Get Started and choose NetSuite.
  3. Follow the prompts to authorize the connection in NetSuite.

You'll see "Successfully connected to NetSuite." A NetSuite review queue appears under Accounting.

Set your subsidiary

In Settings > Integrations > Accounting, choose the Subsidiary your Accountable activity belongs to. Then turn Classes, Departments, and Locations on or off to match the segments you use.

Map accounts and properties

  • On Accounts, map each Accountable account and card to its NetSuite account.
  • On Properties, use Edit Accounting Fields to set a default class or department for each property.

Coding and rules

Each expense can carry an account, Class, Department, Location, and Vendor. Use accounting rules to fill these in automatically for common merchants and recipients.

Common issues

  • "Your accounting connection is still being setup": NetSuite data is still loading after the first connection. Try again shortly.
  • A sync failed: open the transaction to see the error NetSuite returned, fix the field it names, and sync again.
  • Values from the wrong subsidiary: confirm the Subsidiary setting, then refresh the transaction's fields.

Tip: Large NetSuite accounts can take longer on the first connection. Set up your team and cards while it finishes.
