Amazon Business

Connect Amazon Business and Accountable creates itemized receipts for your Amazon purchases, so nobody has to download them.

What syncs

• Receipts: Accountable continuously generates receipts from your Amazon Business purchases and attaches them to the matching card transactions that don't already have one.
• Inventory (optional): products bought on Amazon Business can appear in Inventory > Amazon Incoming to match to catalog items.

Connect Amazon Business

1. Go to Settings > Integrations > Receipt Capture.
2. Next to Amazon Business, click Connect.
3. Sign in to Amazon Business and approve access.

When you return, Amazon Business shows Connected.

How receipt matching works

Accountable looks for card transactions from Amazon that are missing a receipt, finds the matching Amazon Business order, and attaches an itemized receipt. When a transaction will get its receipt this way, the cardholder's text link says "This transaction is connected to an integration, and a receipt will be automatically captured," so they can skip the photo.

Amazon inventory

If your account uses Inventory, Amazon inventory sync can send Amazon Business products to Inventory > Amazon Incoming. There you can match, create, or ignore each product and confirm shipments that have arrived. Once a product is matched, future purchases of it flow into inventory automatically. Contact support to turn this on.

Common issues

• A receipt didn't attach: the purchase must be on a card connected to Accountable and the order must be in the connected Amazon Business account. Receipts are generated on a schedule, so allow some time after the charge.
• Orders from a personal Amazon account: only Amazon Business orders are supported.
• Connection stopped working: connect again from Receipt Capture.

Tip: Ask your team to buy through the company Amazon Business account rather than personal accounts, so every order gets a receipt automatically.
