AI coding suggestions (Beta)

AI coding suggestions fill in the accounting category or GL account, and for property spend, the property.

How suggestions are made

AI looks at:

• The merchant name and its category
• The amount and how it compares to similar charges
• Receipt line items, when a receipt is attached
• How your team coded similar charges before

Each suggestion shows a confidence level of High, Medium or Low, and a short reason.

Reviewing suggestions

Suggestions appear in your accounting review queue on transactions where rules left the field empty.

• Accept a suggestion to use it.
• Change the field to override it. The next suggestion for that merchant reflects your change.
• Accept in bulk by filtering to high confidence suggestions first.

Split transactions get a suggestion per line.

What it will not do

• Overwrite a value set by a rule or a person.
• Sync anything on its own unless you have turned on auto sync.
