Welcome to Accountable

Accountable is spend management and accounting automation for vacation rental and short-term rental property managers. It captures card purchases, bills, and payments, ties each one to a property and task, and syncs the records to your property management system (PMS) and your accounting system.

How it works

1. Capture. When a teammate makes a card purchase, Accountable texts them a link. They tap it, snap the receipt, pick the property, and add a note. No app to install and no login.
2. Code. Each transaction is tagged as a property, business, or mixed expense. You can link it to a Breezeway task or a PMS work order, split it across properties, and apply accounting rules that fill in categories and vendors automatically.
3. Review. Your bookkeeper reviews transactions in two queues: one for your PMS and one for your accounting system.
4. Sync. Mark transactions ready and sync them. Owner charges land in your PMS, and the same spend lands in your general ledger.

What's in the app

• Transactions: every card, bank, and payment transaction in one list, with receipts, notes, and comments.
• Properties: your property list, imported from your PMS.
• Payments: bill pay with approvals, plus your payment recipients.
• Accounts: your Accountable accounts and linked bank accounts.
• Work Orders: Breezeway tasks and PMS work orders with labor, parts, and markup.
• Inventory: storage locations, stock, and charging supplies back to properties.
• Accounting: review queues for your accounting system and your PMS.
• Settings: your profile, team, integrations, link fields, and payment options.
